When they say opposites attract, they mean MJ and Baloo. He grew up the bully, and I grew up being bullied. Baloo is the talker with no filter and I'm the quiet one that over-analyzes before I speak. We met in 2019 on a dating site and instantly connected. Within a week we were on our first date. Baloo was struggling to get his life back together, trying hard to stay away from the wrong crowd and ultimately ended up living in his car within the first month of us dating. We lived an hour away from each other but I knew if I helped him get away from that area, his potential would shine- and it did. He moved in after a month of us knowing each other. He can credit me until his face turns blue, BUT he had it all in him from the very start. I just helped him bring it out as he continues to help me over the years as well. He came into the relationship with a beautiful daughter, Nevaeh- who we eventually got full custody of. She is definitely my karmic daughter. I came into the relationship with my son Damon and Baloo instantly took him in as his own. (Damon is the one who created our LFR logo) After 2 years together we brought our youngest, Brady, into the world as the last addition to our family. Along with 2 cats- Orion and Neptune and our Pit mix baby- Vega. I have also struggled with my health for many years now. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2014 and have recently been struggling with what is most likely Multiple Sclerosis. I've also lived with years of on/off depression, anxiety and severe panic attacks which got even worse after the birth of our youngest. I know I'm not alone in this and because these chronic illnesses and mental health issues are most often unseen by others on the outside, we want to spread more awareness. People cannot understand what they do not know. I also could not be more proud of how far Baloo has come and how supportive he has been. In a matter of 3 years, he went from living in a car to settling into a great career, buying a new car and just recently buying a home. We have been through so much and are still going through a lot just like so many of you out there. We, together, want to spread the positivity and let you know- You are not alone. #LFR
